Hotels: The room blocks are sold out in each convention hotel. We apologize for that inconvenience, but please monitor the hotel page as if rooms open, info will be posted there. They also provide additional details about nearby non-block hotels.
Program: Our Program team would love to know if you’re interested in participating on panels. In the survey in the initial email, please indicate whether you’re interested, and confirm that you are willing to be contacted by our Program team or visit the program page linked here to reach out directly. The deadlines are referenced up top.
Accessibility: Our accessibility team wants to hear from you if you have any accessibility needs. Please email them or the hugo finalist team with any further questions or ways that we can assist. The accessibility team can be reached at accessibility@seattlein2025.org.
Community Fund: The community fund helps provide financial assistance to fans who might not otherwise be able to attend. Details about who the Seattle Worldcon community fund targets is on our website, and we have the goal of helping as many people as possible.
Memberships: Are you attending Seattle Worldcon and still need to purchase a membership? You can find details on the memberships page. More information will be coming soon about day passes for finalists and plus ones to attend the ceremony.
Visa Help: Seattle Worldcon 2025 is dedicated to supporting the widest possible range of participants. Citizens from over 40 countries do not require a visa to travel to Seattle. More information may be found at the USA.gov Visa Waiver Program and ESTA application. If you are a citizen of a country that does not participate in the waiver program, you will need to begin the process of applying for a nonimmigrant visa. We urge you to begin this process as early as possible, as it may take several months depending on wait times in your country. Please note that the DS-160 form is generally the only form you need to complete prior to your interview. Very rarely will you need to bring any supporting documents. If you have any specific questions, we welcome your inquiry at visahelp@seattlein2025.org.
Hugo Voter Packet instructions
Packet deadline: April 9, 2025.
We’re gathering digital versions of finalists’ works into a downloadable Hugo Voter Packet, which we’ll make available to Worldcon members to help them make informed voting choices. Only members of this year’s Worldcon will have access to the Packet. The Packet will be taken offline when voting closes.
Participation in the Packet is voluntary, and you can participate at whatever level you feel comfortable with.
If you choose not to participate: Please email hugo-packet@seattlein2025.org to let us know that you’re not participating.
If you choose to participate: Please follow the instructions below for your category or categories. Emails with links to submit your materials are being sent in batches. Keep an eye out for an email titled “Hugo Awards Voter Packet request” to arrive in your inbox by March 27.
