Visitors will feel like they’ve gone twenty thousand leagues under the sea at Inside Passage, one of Seattle’s most unique theme bars. Sitting under the giant octopus chandelier of this nautically themed space, guests will be able to enjoy a truly immersive (or should we say submersive?) experience that will transport them to the watery depths. Soft, eerie mood lighting sets the impression that one is under water, with glimpses of blue through walls that look like a wooden ship’s hull.
Drinks that make a splash

The bar’s inventive drinks menu includes nods to the city with cocktails like the Amazombie (aged and unaged cachaça, açai, passion fruit, allspice, lime, and absinthe, with free same-day shipping to your table) and the Ballard Fog Cutter (aquavit, cognac, gin, citrus, honey, orgeat, absinthe, bitters, salt, dill, and smoked salmon crostini served in a horn so you can channel your inner Viking). Space age aficionados may be interested in the ’62 Panorama Punch, presented in an authentic 1962 Seattle World’s Fair glass. Each drink has a unique and totally Instagrammable presentation. Our favorite is The Four Boys, with Jamaican and Bajan rums, mango, rice milk, ube, lime, and ginger served in a miniature rice cooker.
Non-alcoholic drinks are also available, plus island-inspired eats such as Jamaican callaloo, spam sliders, and papaya salad.
